Modern upscale knives often feature "jimping" on the spine or rear end of the blade, for increased traction & grip.
I am curious if it's possible, using a mill, to add jimping as an aftermarket modification. You'd be grinding, obviously, not cutting, since blade steel is often in the rockwell 60 range. How might this be accomplished?
Would using a Dremel-type fiber disk be appropriate?
